Preconstruction.
The 2000 Vine Street redevelopment project is the renovation and adaptive reuse of two stone-facade buildings, which formerly housed the City of Kansas City, Missouri’s Water and Street Department. Both buildings are over 140 years old.

Progress.
Since 2016, the development team has spent over $800,000 stabilizing the abandoned buildings with stone restoration, new roofs, and windows.

Renderings.
Work is already underway to revitalize the two stone-exterior buildings that comprise the 2000 Vine Street redevelopment. The building located at the north end of 2000 Vine Street will house the project partners and has approximately 4,500 square feet of additional space dedicated for mixed-use office, retail, local business incubators, and community gathering. Future improvements and renovations to the south building will expand opportunities for more tenant spaces, cultural amenities and potential food options.
